Jerry D. Leonard of Boonville IN. passed away August  27, 2020 at Park Terrace Village in Evansville IN.

He was born in Johnson City TN. on July 16, 1938 to Jack Robert Lee and Maude Joan (Webb) Leonard.

Jerry came to Indiana in 1979 where he became a Union Laborer for the Local 561 and retired from there in 1991. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister; Judy Arnold, and youngest son, Jerry D. Leonard Jr., who passed away on June 26, 2020 in Greece, New York. 

Jerry is survived by the Love of his life for 36 years, Betty Elrod. His children, Vickie Lee Kilby (Martin Rackstraw), Jerri Lynn Leonard, Steve Robert Leonard (Cathy), Kimberly Lane Kenney (Brian), and many grandchildren as well as many great grandchildren, also his older brother, Wayne Carson Leonard. 

A “Celebration of Life Service” will be held for both Jerry Sr. and Jerry Jr., On Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Eagle’s View Church, 333 S. Boehne Camp Rd. Evansville, IN 47712. Friends may visit with family from 1:00 PM. - 3:00 PM, The Service time will begin at 2:00 PM and all are welcome to stay, share and be a part of celebrating their lives.
