John E. Jerger, III. 55, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2011, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was born August 5, 1955, to John E. (Jack), II, Juanita Rose (Hoagland) Jerger in Cincinnati, OH. John was a Team Leader for American Electric Power in Rockport for 35 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his 2 dogs, and visiting with his grandkids at the playhouse near Kentucky Lake. He is preceded in death by his parents. John is survived by his wife of 34 years, Karen (Joyce) Jerger; sons, Christopher John Jerger (Natalie), Jon Matthew Jerger (Kimberly); grandchildren, Isabella Rose, Elijah James; sister, Susie Gregory; brother, Andy Jerger; and his 2 sheltie dogs, Cody & Sadie. Services are 5 p.m., Friday, January 14, 2011, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W Jennings St, Newburgh, (812) 853- 8314, Rev Robert Vester will officiate.
