John H. Hildenbrand of Newburgh, Ind.
John H. Hildenbrand, 76, passed away August 12, 2013, at home. He was
born July 25, 1937, in Evansville, to Herman H. and Elizabeth F. (Young)
Hildenbrand.
He graduated from Mater Dei High School and the Mechanics Arts trade
school. He then served in the United States Navy overseas. John retired
after many years as a supervisor at Whirlpool. He was a member of St.
John the Baptist Catholic Church and the American Legion Kapperman
Post 44.
John was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Herman Joe; and
sister-in-law, Nancy.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dianne C. (Leuschke); sons,
Terence (Barbara), Chris (Carol); grandchildren, Nicholas, Brittany, Anfiza,
Nadya; siblings, Robert Daniel, George (Jan), Phyllis (Martin), Martha,
Marilyn (Steve), and Sarah.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m., Friday, August 16, 2013, at
St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd., Newburgh, Indiana,
entombment will follow at St. John's Mausoleum with Military Rites.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes,
Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, Indiana (812) 853-8314
with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Additional visitation will be 9 a.m. until Mass
time Friday at the church.
