Rev. John W. Enlow, II
Rev. John W. Enlow, II of Evansville, IN passed on to his heavenly home
March 19, 2010 at his residence.
He was born in Evansville, IN on October 16, 1943
John's early schooling was with the Elberfeld School System. After moving to
FL, he was a 1961 graduate of Apopka Memorial High School. His schooling
also includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Education from
Southern Illinois University in 1979. He also received a Master of Arts
Degree in Human Relations from Webster University in 1982. He received
his Minister's Certificate from Perkins School of Theology at Southern
Methodist University.
He retired as a Master Sergeant with the US Air Force after 21 years of
service.
John also retired with the United Methodist Church as an ordained Minister
after serving churches in OK and IN. The churches he pastored included Blair
UMC, Erick UMC and Berlin UMC of OK. The United Methodist Churches in
Indiana include St. Peters/St. Paul's UMC, Hazelton/Decker Chapel/Mt. Olive
UMC, Morristown UMC, Orleans UMC and Bloomfield Wesley Chapel of
Spencer County. He and his wife attended the Bloomfield Wesley Chapel of
Spencer County.
John is survived by his wife Nina (Deiss) of 37 years, 2 sons, Paul W. Enlow
of Whitestown, IN and John Enlow of Glyndon, MN (Terrie ) and daughter,
Marcie Rudolph of Bryon, GA. Seven grandchildren: John and Jim Enlow of
Fargo, ND, Ashley Enlow of West Fargo ND.,Timmy Enlow of Glyndon, MN,
Abbie Klingler(Michael), Regan and Henry Rudolph of Bryon, GA., one great
grandchild Emma Grace Klingler, brother, Archie Kifer (Gail) of Apopka, FL.,
sister, Jackie Case of New Smyrna Beach, FL., aunts, Jackie Young,
Clevia Jean Kruse, Virginia Bristow.
He was preceded in death by his mother Bernice Kifer (Oestreicher), his
father John Enlow I was killed in action during WWII in 1945.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM., Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the
Titzer Family Funeral Home-Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St.,
Newburgh IN. 47630, (812) 853-8314, with Pastor Mike Turner officiating,
burial will at Park Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4pm-7pm on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at the Titzer
Family Funeral Home-Simpson Chapel, and friends may also visit from 1pm
until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
John's family would like to express their gratitude to the church family,
neighbors and to his caregivers and staff of Deaconess Hospice for their
care and concern of John and the family. Gratitude also goes to all the
friends and family for their love and prayers.
