Julia Raibley

Julia Raibley, 79, of Newburgh, IN passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Ascension St. Vincent Evansville Hospital. She was born on September 7, 1943 in Evansville to the late Lawrence and Mary (Schmidt) Raibley.

Julia graduated from Reitz Memorial High School. She was a graduate of Lockyear Business College. Following graduation Julia began her career working in the banking industry, retiring from Peoples Trust and Savings Bank after 48 years of service. Julia, as stated, loved family and friends, car racing, especially with the Fortune Family and being a part of Peoples Bank in Booneville.

She is survived by her siblings, Mary Frances Wessel, Margaret Boehmann, Rebecca Bryden, and Mark Raibley; 9 nieces, and nephews, 12 great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, IN 47630 (812) 853-8314.

A funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 7, 2023 at St. Rupert Catholic Church 1244 West Red Brush Rd., Newburgh, IN 47630 with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at St. Rupert Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Association.
