June Bathana (Tenney) Gudgel, 85, of Evansville, passed away, Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. She was born June 8, 1926 in DeSota, MO to Everly V. and Stella L. (Cochran) Tenney. She was a member of Assembly of God church for over 50 years. She formerly loved quilting, crocheting, and cross stitch. She also enjoyed flower gardening and collecting angels. June was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jesse; daughter, Nancy Marie Smith; siblings, Pauline Harness, Ralph Earl Tenney, and Mary Jane Lewis. She is survived by one son, William E. Gudgel of Evansville; one daughter, Donna S. Gudgel of Homer Glen, IL; 5 siblings, Della Travis of FL, Clifford Dale Tenney of CA, John Robert Tenney of WI, Ray Tenney of IL., and Roy Tenney of Evansville; 4 grandchildren, Taylor G. and Adam Wagner, Stephen G. Smith, and Kyle G. Moy. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, October 14, 2011 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville, IN. Reverend Jack Feldbusch will officiate. Burial will be held at 12 noon at Sumner Cemetery in Sumner, IL. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. To 8 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2011 and on Friday, 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be made @titzerfuneralhomes.com.
