Katherine Sarah Ashby Katherine Sarah Ashby, 81, of Sacramento, CA, formerly of Evansville, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009 in California. She was a nurse's aide for St. Mary's Hospital for 30 years. She attended Garvinwood General Baptist in Evansville until her move to California in 2002. She also worked as a foster grandparent for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle in 1966. She is survived by her brother, Robert Rhodes of Beaumont, CA. Services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville, IN. Reverend Jim Rudolph will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, 11 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
