Keith Allen Mills, 64, of Newburgh, passed away December 30, 2021, at Gateway Hospital in Evansville. Keith was born July 22, 1957, at Fort Campbell KY to the late Joseph Mills. 

The family moved to Indiana while Keith was still young.  Keith graduated Castle High School in 1975. He developed a passion for baseball and Football. In 1977 he began working for Keensburg Mine. He graduated with a Mining degree in 1978 from Wabash Valley College.

In 1982 Keith met Misty, he said, “I’m gunna marry that girl.” He finally had the courage to ask her out, with a little help from his brother, 7 months later. They married on December 21, 1984, along with her two children. As a family, they enjoyed traveling, motorcycles, drag racing, and living life.

Keith retired after 38 years from Underground Mining. Not liking idle time, he went to work for Lowe’s for 4 years before retiring due to health reasons.

Keith is survived by his wife Misty, Daughter Amy Kremer (Nick), Son Nicholas, 5 Grandchildren, including eldest Grandson, Dakota who he raised and considered a son, his Mother Jacqueline Mills, and siblings, Brad, Pam, Kathy, and Steve.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh IN 47630. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm.

As in life, Keith continues to help others as an organ donor. Memorial contributions can be directed to www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org and a potluck for those who would like to contribute.
