Larry Alan Schwiersch, 58, of Haubstadt, Ind., passed away, Monday, May 2, 2016. He was born December 29, 1957, in Princeton, Ind., to the late Elmer and Viola Schwiersch. Larry was a graduate of the University of Evansville and had worked as an Electrical Engineer at Hanson's and Hurst before he went into farming full time. He was a member of the Superior Ag Board of Directors and the Tabor Church Cemetery Board. He was a former board member of Gibson County Co-Op and on the FSA Committee. Larry enjoyed spending time with family, fishing with his daughter, farm talk with friends, and his dog, Milo. A devoted husband and father, Larry is survived by his wife of 36 years, Andrea (Mans) Schwiersch; daughters, Amie Hulfachor (Mike), Lauren Weil (Jordan), Alicia Schwiersch; grandkids, Kendall, Alexander, Kirsten, and Andrew Hulfachor and Jackson Weil; sisters, Brenda Erwin (Duane), Donna Kruse (Hubert); and nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m., Friday, May, 6, 2016, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel, 2nd & Elm Streets, Elberfeld, Ind., (812) 983-4211. Burial will follow in Tabor Cemetery.
