Lawrence Eugene Goodall, 87, is in Heaven now celebrating with his wife, our mom, Sally and Jesus. He passed away with his family surrounding him on October 14, 2017 at Woodmont Health Care. He was born November 16, 1929, in Belton, Muhlenberg County, Kentucky to Absolom "Cellus" and Pearlie (Joines).
He never met a stranger and spoke to everyone. He loved hearing where they grew up and who was their parents. He reminded his children to be nice to everyone. Family was very important to him. He loved us all.
He worked many factory and farming jobs before starting for Warrick County School Corp. He retired from there to start working for Indiana Hardwoods, Kimball. Lawrence always worked on lawn mowers, small engines and cars for extra money. He loved talking, singing, and mowing the grass.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his brothers, James and Ernest; his sisters, Alice and Dorothy; and grandsons, Shawn and Jeremy Clark.
Lawrence leaves behind his five children, Paul, Linda Amos, Patty Clark, Rita Hulsey (Scott), Laura Oldham (James); nine grandkids, Brad, Tim, Shari, Tracy, Tara, Jarod, Brandon, Lauren, and Devin; fifteen great-grandkids; siblings, Mildred Rector and Lyndall; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and lots of friends.
