Marjorie Cobb, a beloved member of our community, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at the age of 92. Marjorie was a cherished friend, devoted family member, and an inspiring figure to all who knew her. Marjorie was born on September 25, 1932, in Boonville, IN to her late parents. She grew up surrounded by love and support from her family and friends and carried those values throughout her life.

Marjorie was an exceptional student, earning accolades for her academic achievements. She attended the University of Evansville, where she pursued her passion for English and teaching. Her career was marked by dedication and excellence; she served as head of the English Department at Castle High School for 37 and a half years. One of her most well-known accomplishments was starting the Castle Jr. High Yearbook.

Marjorie was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit. She enjoyed teaching in both her career and her personal life, often sharing her talents with others and enriching their lives. Her home was always filled with warmth and laughter, as she valued time spent with her loved ones.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved husband, Eugene Robert Cobb 1999. She is survived by her son, Michael E. Cobb; daughter, Pam Adams; grandson, Jaycob Cobb; granddaughters, Maloree Cobb and Samantha Adams.

A Funeral Service in Marjorie’s honor will be held on Friday, March 14th, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Titzer Family Funeral Home’s Simpson Chapel, 510 W Jennings St Newburgh IN. Friends may visit beginning at 9:00 a.m., and burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Evansville immediately following the funeral service.
