Marjorie Ellen Kester-Cox, 85, of Elberfeld, IN, passed away, Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Woodbridge Nursing Care and Rehab Center. She was born May 6, 1924 in Posey County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Cox in 2004. Marjorie is survived by four sons, Joel and Linda of Marion, KY, Rodger and Jane Ann of Evansville, IN, Charlie and Lynn of Newburgh, IN, and Mitchell and Debra of Haubstadt, IN; one daughter, Brenda and Bill Winternheimer of Newburgh, IN; 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; four sisters, Evelyn and John Stallings of San Jose, CA, June and Richard Cullen of Seaside, CA, Beth Swenginsen of Castro Valley, CA, Mickey Gruver of Houston, TX; one brother, Harold Wayne Kester of Mt. Vernon, IN; nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Volkman Chapel, 2nd & Elm Streets Elberfeld, IN. Burial will be in Noble's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at the funeral home. Condolences may be made @titzerfuneralhomes.com.
