Marjorie R. Fuller of Evansville Marjorie R. Fuller, 85, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012, at her residence. She was born in Chicago on June 23, 1926, and following her first five years, grew up in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelors in Chemistry and a Masters in both the History of Science and Library Science. She moved to Evansville and worked for thirty-five years in the Research Library at Bristol Myers. Marjorie was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Evansville. She enjoyed her final years at Solarbron, where she often won the Spelling-Bee and Trivia-Question contests. She answered all questions relating to chemistry. Marjorie loved opera, especially Carmen. She attended the Nutcracker perhaps a dozen times. Thanks to the Solarbron staff who were caring and friendly. They appreciated Marjorie's quick wit and brief, direct answers to their questions. Her parents, George R. and Ruth (Wilkes) Fuller, preceded her in death. She is survived by her cousin Barbara Burnett and friends, Mary Jane Schmitt and Virginia Copeland and her care giver, Alice Serr of Evansville. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, January 12, 2012, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 301 S. E. First Street, Evansville, Ind., officiated by the Rev. Richard R. Godbold. Burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville, IN is handling arrangements.
