Mark Alan Meneely
Mark Alan Meneely was called away, and his pain lifted, on April 14, 2010 at
St. Mary's Medical Center. He was only 47 years old. His medical problems
became too hard for him to bear.
He graduated from Castle High School in 1980, attended Western in
Kentucky and USI in Evansville.
He will be sadly missed by his two sons, Logan and Chase; his brother, Brad
and his wife, Tammy and their children, Matthew and Kayla; also an uncle,
Dennis Meneely and his family; an aunt, Phyllis Danhour, and her family;
grandmother, Shirley Roeschlein; a good friend and caretaker, Tim Farley;
and his mother and father, Elberta and Larry.
Mark was preceded in death by grandparents, Mary and Lester Kelsey,
Elbert Roeschlein, and Gretchen and Bob Meneely.
When Mark's health was good, he loved to dig for old bottles, at an old
dumpsite close to the home of his grandparents, Gretchen and Bob Meneely.
He was always excited when he found a perfect old bottle with a cork.
Mark worked in restaurant management, having started at the Petroleum
Club in Evansville. He worked in men's clothing and sales until he was
unable to work.
Mark will be missed by his family and all friends who knew him, as he had a
very friendly and outgoing personality.
