Mark T. Shepherdson Mark T. Shepherdson, 49, of Newburgh, formally of Riverton, IL, passed away due to a tragic work related auto accident on Interstate 164 while working for INDOT, Tuesday, March 24, 2009. He was born November 27, 1959 in Springfield, IL. He drove a bus for many years at Willow Park for the seniors, and also drove the Town Trolley for many events in the town of Newburgh. Mark loved the outdoors, working in his yard, taking walks with his dog and fishing. He was employed by the State of Indiana Department of Transportation in Maintenance. Mark is survived by his mother, Carol Karlovsky of Newburgh, his father, Harold Shepherdson of Riverton, IL, siblings, Becky Shepherdson, Paul Shepherdson both of Springfield, IL, David Shepherdson of Newburgh, special friend, Kim Johnson, aunt, Leanna Hughes (Ken) of Newburgh, several nieces and nephews, two great nephews, , and his pride and joy, Jake, his English Springer Spaniel. A memorial service will be held, 10 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2009, at Riverton First United Methodist Church, 429 E. Lincoln St., Riverton, IL,62561, Rev. Dr. Jonathan Dixon officiating with burial following in Rose Lawn Memorial Park, Springfield, IL. A visitation will be held for Mark, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Friday, March 27, 2009, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, Indiana (812) 853-8314.
