Martha Ann Rutt, 74, of Newburgh, Ind., passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012, at home surrounded by her family. She was born December 9, 1937, in Stanley, KY, to Thomas Arville and Beulah Mae (Coomes) Hamilton. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Tom and Charles Hamilton, and Mary Jo Lynch. Martha is survived by her husband and life-long companion of 54 years, Clarence E. Rutt; children, Rebecca L. Rutt, Timothy E. Rutt, Katherine A. Rutt, Elizabeth M. Mohr (Dan); five grandchildren, Chris D. Williams, Michael J. Demarest, Kristen L. Hayes, Tony Mohr, Crystal Mohr; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Joe Hamilton, Patricia Hirsch, Helen Vance, Marie Mattingly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m., Monday, August 20, 2012, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd, Newburgh, Indiana, Father Tom Kessler will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W Jennings St., Newburgh, Indiana (812) 853-8314, and 9 a.m. until Mass time, Monday at church.Sympathy wishes to the family made be made online at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com
