Martha Darnell Tesort Yonts, 82, of Owensboro, KY, formerly of Newburgh, IN, passed away Monday, October 24, 2011, at Owensboro Care & Rehab Center. She was born July 12, 1929, in Princeton, KY, to David Nelson & Ernestine (Breshear) Darnell. She was of the Pentecostal faith; she loved her church & spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 husbands, Homer Tesort & Raymond Yonts; 2 brothers, Lawrence Darnell, Robert Darnell; 2 sisters, Alene Eli, Rachel Stone; daughter, Marlene Skaggs; grandsons, Eddie Skaggs, & Dale Yonts. Survivors include: sons, Randal Tesort (Becky), Larry Yonts; daughters, Lois Stinnett (Larry), Kathy Keller, Vicki Cisco (Kevin), all of Owensboro; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; & several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, October 27. 2011 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, IN. Reverend Bobby Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Bethany Church Cemetery in rural Warrick County, IN. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
