Mary K. Brooks

Mary Kathleen Brooks, 98, of Evansville IN went home to be with the Lord on September 12, 2024. Mary was born on December 22, 1925 in Johnston City, IL. She worked as a manager at A&P Foods for 25 years; she then retired and stayed busy being a wonderful and loving Nonnie.

 Nonnie is survived by granddaughter Sara Majors; great-grandkids Kahla Hinsey and Joshua Gahagan; and great-great-grandkids Austin Barnes and Savannah Barnes.

 Nonnie’s life was a testament to her strength and resilience. She faced challenges with courage and determination. Her legacy lives on through the many lives that she touched, the memories she created, and the love that she shared.

Rest in peace, dear Nonnie – your love and light will never be forgotten!

 Mary’s graveside service will be private as per her and her family’s request.
