Mary S. Hinsey, 81, of Evansville, passed away, Thursday, August 19, 2010
at Select Specialty Hospital. She was born in Evansville on August 28, 1928.
Mary was a waitress at Harold's Stadium Inn for many years. She was a
former member of St. Benedict's and Holy Rosary Catholic Churches. She
was a good mother and served as a den mother for her son's Cub Scout
Troops. She loved spending time with her grandkids. Mary will be sadly
missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Theresa (Clayton) Shockley;
sister, Wanda Cain; brother, James Shockley. Mary is survived by her
husband of 65 years, James W. Hinsey; 5 sons, James H., Bill (Patty),
Thomas (Danielle), John (Sara), and Wayne; daughter, Teresa Cron (Paul);
sister, Rita Vandiver; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-
great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, August 23, 2010 at Titzer Family
Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, Indiana.
Rev. Fr. Ted Tempel will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday, August 22, 2010 and
Monday, 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
