Mary Inez Kelly of Evansville Mary Inez Kelly, 92, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Home. She was born April 21, 1920 in Lebanon, KY to Francis Xavier and Anna Mary (Head) Higdon. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in the city. Mary was a building manager in real estate and held various jobs in New York City, Chicago, Kentucky, California. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Coleman Kelly on September 17, 2004; four brothers, Charles, Arvil, Joseph Leo, and Joseph Louis Higdon; two sisters, her twin, Sister Mary Seraphim Irene Higdon, and Sister Mary Joseph Higdon. Mary is survived by her friends and caregivers, Judy Wittgen of Evansville and nephew, Charles Higdon (Norma) of Ohio; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, August 24, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 610 E. Virginia St. Evansville, IN. Rev. Fr. Ted Tempel will officiate with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. to mass time at the church. Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville is handling arrangements. Condolences may be posted @www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
