Mary Margaret (Mathew) Alexander, 87, formerly of Evansville, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 at Alive Hospice in Madison, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband James; her parents, Earl and May Mathew; and brothers Harold and Glen. She is survived by her son-in-love and daughter, Paul and Mary Jo Martin and her daughter, Jana Beck, all of Hermitage, TN; grandchildren, Erin (Todd) Stevens, Jason Mathew (Julie) Martin, Drew (Brittany) Beck and Jenny (Travis) White; great-grandchildren, Elijah Paul, Daniel James, and Levi Andrew Stevens, Hannah Grace and Joshua Mathew Martin, and Carson Lee White; sister, Darlene (Kenny) Davis and sister-in-love, Patricia Mathew. Mary was a faithful member of the Evansville General Baptist Church before moving to Nashville, TN to be near her daughters. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, May 15, 2015 at Park Lawn Cemetery conducted by Rev. James Pickerill, her pastor and Rev. Todd Stevens, her grandson.
