Mary Willie (Beaven) Quinzer, 94, of Newburgh, IN, passed away, Monday, April 23, 2018, at Premier Healthcare New Harmony. She was born January 27, 1924, in Uniontown, KY, to William Edgar and Elle Nora (Girten) Beaven.
Mary graduated from St. Agnes High School in Uniontown, KY. She worked at Duncan Storage and retired from JC Penny in 2000. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church since 1963. Mary belonged to the Newburgh Senior Center kazoo band, she volunteered for Mother Theresa's food pantry, and was a officer with the Paradise extension homemakers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 39 years, Millard Eugene Quinzer; son, Anthony W. Quinzer; and sisters, Margaret N. White and Christine Nalley.
Mary is survived by her son, Paul E. Quinzer (Cindy); daughter-in-law, Lynn Quinzer; grandchildren, Anthony, Christina, Nicole, Jessica, Jachob, Logan, Alexandria, Savanah, Bronson; 1 niece and 3 nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m., Friday, April 27, 2018, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd., Newburgh, IN. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, IN (812) 853-8314. And 9 a.m. to Mass time Friday at the church. Sympathy wishes to the family may be shared at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
