Nancy (Titzer) Miller, 84, Of Newburgh, IN, passed away surrounded by her family, Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
She was born May 7, 1934, in Evansville the daughter of Clement F. and Edith (Trapp) Titzer. Nancy was a devoted servant of God. She was selfless throughout her life. “When you speak of her, speak not with tears, for thoughts of her should not be sad. Let memories of the times you shared give you comfort for her life was a rich one.”
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 54 years, Carl Elwood Miller; and siblings, infant Lavern, Clem, Robert, Mary Lou Wilson, Lee Boardman.
She is survived by nine children, Brock Miller (Joni) of Bloomfield, Ind., Carla Parkes (Steve) of Spencer, Ind., Jane Helms (Roger) of Bloomfield, Ind., Kim Sparks (Tom) of Lyons, Ind., Kirk Miller (Marilea) of Peachtree City, Ga., Mary Williams of Fayetteville, Ga., Brenda O'Connor (Dan) of Shiloh, Ill., Jill Turner (Doug) of Eatonton, Ga., and Ryan Miller (Ashley) of Lynnville, Ind.; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and sister, Jane Nash.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, May 18, 2018, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd., Newburgh, IN. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, IN, (812) 853-8314. Also, 9 a.m. to Mass time Friday at the church.
