Patricia J. Pat (Anderson) Barnett, 84, of Newburgh, Ind., passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Hamilton Pointe Health and Rehab. She was born August 12, 1931 in Newburgh to the late Roy and Dorothy (Smith) Anderson. She was a graduate of Newburgh High School and a member of Peace Fellowship Church in Newburgh. Pat married Harold Barnett, Jr. on September 15, 1950. For many years, Pat and Harold, were owners and operators of school buses for Warrick County. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 55 years, Harold Barnett, Jr.; brothers, Tom and Jack; sister-in-law, Doris Griffin. Patricia is survived by her children, Carolyn Smith (Jesse), and Rev. David Barnett (Mary); grandchildren, Eric (Leslie), John, Joshua, Joanna, Joseph, Rebecca, Lauren, Nicky, Brent; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Randy Anderson (Julie); several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, IN (812) 853-8314. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2015 and Saturday 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Rev. David Barnett and Rev. Ed Helms will officiate with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Peace Fellowship Church or Heart to Heart Hospice.
