Phyllis Ann Rieber, 74, of Evansville, Ind., passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014, at Columbia Healthcare. She was born January 10, 1940, in Haubstadt to Harold and Wilma (Webb) Finney.
She was a dedicated CNA and retired after 20 years from Little Sisters of the Poor. Phyllis was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, David Eugene Rieber, Jr.; brother, Larry Finney; and sister, Mary Riley.
She is survived by four daughters, Kim Shockley, Susan Klodowski, Julie Price, Diane Weaver; grandsons, Justin Rieber (Heather), Joshua Wagner (Taylor), Christopher Steeley, Clifton Price; granddaughters, Kelsey Klodowski, Amanda Redden (Robert Redden III), Kaylee Shockley; three great-grandchildren, Rebekah Rieber, Robert A. Redden IV, Jace Hammer; siblings, Nancy Martin, June Byrne, Ben Finney, Don Finney, Kay Pfeiffer, Carol Ross, Debbie Marsh.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St., Evansville, Ind., (812) 424-9288. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
