Rachel Mae Lomax of Evansville, Ind. Rachel Mae Lomax, 24, was taken suddenly from this earth on Sunday, June 3, at her home on Evansville's Westside. Rachel graduated from the Salon Professional Academy. She had an amazing talent in hair design and cosmetology. She was a very loving, unselfish person, and could light up a room with her extraordinary smile. Rachel was greatly loved and supported by all her family and friends. We were blessed to have had her with us. Rachel is survived by her son, Carleo Zapata; her mother and father, John and Patricia Lomax; her brother, Levi Lomax; her sister, Jessa Lomax; her grandparents; five aunts; five uncles; and many loving cousins. A Memorial Service will be held 6 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2012, at the Center of Hope Church, 808 SE 3rd St., Evansville, Pastor Scott Farmer will officiate. The family request no flowers be sent. Memorial contributions may be made in Rachel's memory to the Center of Hope Church. The arrangements are in the care of Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Meyer Chapel.
