Ralph William Bond, 87, of Evansville, passed away Sunday November 10, 2013 at VNA Charlier Hospice. He was born in Elberfeld on September 16, 1926 to the late William Henry and Gyneth (Morris) Bond. He was a member of Barnett’s Chapel Church in Elberfeld. Ralph graduated from Evansville College and was a heating and air conditioning engineer and worked for George Koch & Sons, Bendix Westinghouse, Whirlpool, and retired from Amana in Cedar Rapids, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elaine (Hicks) Bond in 1998. He is survived by son, Ronald W. Bond; daughter, Susan Elaine Bond; brother, James Lee Bond; three grandchildren, Ross, Hannah, and Jon Bond; one great-grandchild. Burial will be 1 p.m., Monday, November 18, 2013, at Barnett’s Chapel Cemetery in Elberfeld. Arrangements in the care of Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Meyer Chapel, (812) 424-9288.
