Richard Edward Arney, 73, has gone to join his family in Heaven on December 18, 2014. He was born in Evansville on July 14, 1941 to the late Henry James and Tina (Matthews) Arney. He was a Catholic and a Mater Dei graduate. Richard served in the United States Army during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He worked for Winsor Plastics, was a member of the Order of the Owls and he loved to play Bingo. Richard is survived by two sisters, Henrietta Crane (Ernest) of Newburgh and Marilyn Beckman of GA; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Tina Knight and Mary E. Halbig; brother, Donald Massey and niece, Diana Doss. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Fr. Kenneth Herr presiding. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Vanderburgh County Retired Veterans Memorial Club. Arrangements by Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Meyer Chapel.
