Richard Lee Allen, 65, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at his home.  He was born March 13, 1953 in Herrin, IL to the late Emmel Eugene and Myra Rose (Christ) Allen.

Rich graduated from Marion High School in Marion, IL.  He attended Southern Il University and the University of Kentucky; he then went on to  graduate from the United Electronic Institute.  He worked at CGR Medical Corp, GE Medical Division and was part owner of General Imaging Corp for over 30 years.  Rich was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. 

Rich was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Terry Allen.  He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Eva (Mitsdarffer) Allen; children, Christopher Allen (Megan), Nicholas Allen (Nola), Tara (Allen) Gwynn (Brandon); grandchildren, Wyatt, Harper, Lyric Allen, Kayson, Kipton, Keegan Gwynn; sister, Nelda Huff (Gene); brother, Scott Allen (Lori); sister-in-law, Paula; and brother-in-law, Joe Snoddy.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, November 2, 2018 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, IN (812) 853-8314.  Burial will be at a later date.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday and 9 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home.
