Rick Baxter "So much time, good and bad, but I have had a full life and enjoyed every bit of it." Richard Lee "Rick" Baxter, 67, of Warren County, VA, formerly of Newburgh, died on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Winchester Medical Center. Rick was born December 11, 1944 in Evansville, IN to Paul Erl Baxter and Anne Belinski Baxter. He was raised in Newburgh, IN and graduated with the Castle High School Class of 1962. - In 1965, Rick moved to Houston, TX where he would marry, raise two sons, and graduate with a bachelor's degree in materials management from the University of Houston. He spent his professional career with Dresser Industries, TRW and Quest. Since 1991, Rick made his home in Front Royal, Virginia. Surviving are his son Richard Baxter, Jr. of Fort Worth, TX; his son Ralph Baxter and daughter-in¬law Melodie Avenius Baxter of Leesburg, VA; his former wife Mary lochetz Baxter of Bedford, TX; his sister Frances Ann Lee of Houston, TX; and his grandchildren Chad Baxter and Kailey Baxter. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother William E. Baxter. Rick will be buried near his parents at Forest Park Westheimer in Houston, TX on May19.
