Rita R. Eble, 89, passed away, Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Angel River. She was born in Yankeetown, December 11, 1922, to Henry Joseph and Rose Elizabeth (Becker) Eble. Rita was a long time member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, and previously worked at Seaton Manor Cafeteria and at Servel during WWII. She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Joseph, Ted Eble, Christina Epley; niece and nephew, Joanne Epley and Harold Epley. Her survivors include: nieces and nephews, Mary and Jim Tucker; Kenny Epley; Greg, Mike, Karen Eble; Cindy Epley; Phyllis Hodgson; Wendy Watson; sisters-in-law, Anna Eble and Bettye Eble; and several great nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 10 a.m., Saturday, May 26, 2012, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd, Newburgh. Rev. Father Joseph Ziliak will officiate with burial following at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St, Newburgh, (812) 853-8314, and 9 a.m. to Mass time, Saturday at church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
