Robert (Bob) Harris

Robert (Bob) P. Harris, 94, of Elberfeld, IN, passed away September 17, 2018 at his home with family by his side in Elberfeld, IN.  He was born December 8, 1923 in Spencer County, IN to the late Sam and Mary Ann (Weatherholt) Harris.

Bob was married to Nathalee Elizabeth (Lerch) Harris on July 14, 1944.  They were married 57 wonderful years before she preceded him in death in 2002.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, all 7 siblings and 2 sons, Robert (Bobby) N. Harris and Donald Harris.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Mary (Danny) Moody of Wadesville, IN; son, Walter (Donna) Harris of Lynnville, IN; daughter-in-law, Beckie (the late Bobby Harris) of Elberfeld, IN; 10 Grandchildren, 25 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandson.

Bob worked for Miller’s Orchard in Stanley, IN for 17 years before he went to work at Farm Bureau Co-op in Boonville, IN.  He was there until his retirement in 1985 after 20 years of service.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, September 21, 2018 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel, 200 Elm Street, Elberfeld, IN (812) 983-4211.  Burial will follow in Barnett Chapel Cemetery in Lynnville, IN.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home.
