Robert Jackson Williams Robert Jackson Williams, 79, of Evansville, IN, passed away Monday, August 29, 2011 at Angel River Rehab Center. He was born March 20, 1932 in Morehouse, MO to the late Robert H. and Irene (Sherrard) Williams. He served in the Navy, overseas, on a destroyer during the Korean Conflict. He retired in 1994 after 40 years with Red Spot Paint Company. He was a member of the Owls and Eagles Clubs and loved playing pool. Before his illness he attended services at the Evansville Rescue Mission. Robert was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jean Evelyn Williams; two sons, Kenny R. (Cathy) Williams and Kelly J. (Beth) Williams; grandchildren, Kristy (Jacob) McDaniel, Isaac, Evelynn and Abigail Williams; great-grandchildren, Justin and Haylee McDaniel; siblings, Thelma (Gene) Brannum and Gerald (Mike) Williams. Services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville, IN. Reverend Robert Nall will officiate with burial in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
