Robert Douglas Sanders

Robert Douglas Sanders, 80, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Mount Vernon Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born in Evansville on June 18, 1944, to Samuel Isaac and Anna Marie (O’Brien) Sanders.

Robert attended Holy Rosary Elementary School and was a 1962 graduate of Memorial High School. He worked at numerous places throughout his life including Whirpool, KOCH, Fautless Caster, and Imperial Desk. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Robert is survived by his nephew, Timothy Sanders. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Jane Ann Sanders.

A graveside service will take place at 1:00 on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Parklawn Cemetery. 1526 S Green River Rd, Evansville, IN 47715.
