Ronald J. Zeller of Elberfeld
Ronald J. Zeller, 32, passed away Friday, March 18, 2011. He was
born May 8, 1978, in Evansville, to Loren Miles & Cynthia Ann (Meny) Zeller.
He graduated from North High School in 1997 and from Purdue University in
2001 with a Bachelors Degree in OLS Organizational Leadership &
Supervision. He worked as a Team Leader at TISA in Princeton. He
attended St. James Catholic Church, and was a member of the American
Legion in Elberfeld. He loved to hunt and fish, and in his spare time he
enjoyed playing video games.
Ronald served in the United States Army for many years; he completed one
tour in Afghanistan and two tours in Iraq.
He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Christina (Freeman); daughter,
Allison and son Andrew, both at home. Also surviving are his parents, Loren
& Cynthia; sister, Melinda Barnett; 2 nieces, Baili & Courtney; 1 nephew,
Darrik; & grandparents, Gerald & Shirley Meny. He is preceded in death by
grandparents, Lewis Michael & Lorraine Zeller, Sr. & niece, Elizabeth
Barnett.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, March
23, 2011, at St. James Catholic Church, 12300 S 50 W, Haubstadt, Father
Kenneth Betz will officiate. Burial will follow at Barnett Chapel Cemetery with
full Military Rites. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with a 7 p.m. Rosary
service at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel, 2nd & Elm Sts,
Elberfeld, Ind. (812) 983-4211, and 9 a.m. until Mass time Wednesday at
church.
