Ruth V. Harville Ruth V. (Davis) Render Harville, 91, of Evansville, passed away, Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Angel River Health & Rehabilitation Center in Newburgh. She was born in Delaware, Kentucky on July 30, 1917 the daughter of the late, Minnie Lee (Keown) and Allen Davis. She had a worked for Deaconess Hospital for over ten years and was head nurse at Newton Nursing Home for thirteen years. She was of the Christian Faith. Ruth enjoyed sewing, carpentry work and listening to country western and gospel music and reading the Guide Post magazine. She especially loved being with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Mary E. Sorrels, whom she lived with , of Evansville, eight grandchildren and their spouses, Troy Sweeney ( Karen), David Sweeney, Gwen Weightman (Doug), Lewis Sweeney (Maria), Steven Sorrels (Connie), Gary Render, Sr., Larry Render (Aura), and Julie Mayfield. She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Lewis Render on January 1, 1969; her late husband, David F. Harville on March 31, 1978; son, James Render; granddaughter, Diana Jacinto; great-granddaughter, Mary Beth Weightman; and five brothers and several sisters. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville, Indiana. Rev. Brenda Steproe will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2008 and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be made online @ www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
