Shawn loved his job, he was employed by Willett Contracting, and thought very highly of his boss,Josh. He loved the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing with his grandkids, he loved listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd and drinking beer by the fire, he was a vivid storyteller, and oftentimes you could relive the story through him. Shawn was known for making crafts, specifically dream catchers. He loved being able to spend time with his family and friends, striving to spend more time with daughters and grandkids. He recently started going to church with his daughters, at The Refuge.Shawn had little sayings like "Hell Yeah" and liked to refer to himself as "One". He would always say keep smiling and he loved to make people laugh. He liked singing and making reference to the song,"beer is good,God is great and people are crazy". Shawn always talked about living off the land in a teepee, he didn't want for anything materialistic, just wanted enough to live. He always spoke of being a better father to his girls, he thought he'd have time... time to make it right. He had a strong belief in God and would often say, if he's wrong big deal but if he's right, "Hell Yeah" its going to be awesome! If you knew Shawn, you know he was fiercely loyal to those he loved and would always fight for the underdog, because he was the ultimate underdog.
