Stephen Ray Kingsbury, 62, of Chehalis, Washington, formerly of Elberfeld, Ind., passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015, in Centralia, Washington. He was born June 29, 1953, in Evansville to Jack Henry and Betty Lavern (Highsmith) Kingsbury, Jr. Steve graduated from North High School in 1971. He worked for the Fred Mayer Corp. in Chehalis, WA for some 15 years and was a member of the Teamsters Local 252 in WA. He was preceded in death by his parents; aunts and uncles, Marie Kingsbury Neufelder, Oscar and Marie Highsmith, William Kingbury, Robert and Faye Highsmith, Donald and Vernita Kingsbury. Steve is survived by his son, Stephen (Wade) Barnhart; brothers, Gary Kingsbury, Larry Kingsbury; aunts and uncles, Joyce Kingsbury, Larry Neufelder, Joanne and James Gansman, Dorothy and Rob Englebrecht; nieces and nephews, Gina Kingsbury Quick, Lisa, Eric, Chad, Jason Kingsbury; numerous cousins. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, August 8, 2015, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel, 2nd & Elm Streets, Elberfeld, Ind., (812) 983-4211. Burial will follow in Nobles Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, and 9 a.m. to service time Saturday, at the funeral home.
