Stephen Wesley Davis Stephen Wesley Davis, 56, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2009 at his residence. He was born, January 23, 1953, in Oakland City, IN. He graduated from Mt. Vernon High School. He worked for Whirlpool Corporation as a welder. He was a member of the Cathedral of Praise. Stephen was an outdoorsman and enjoyed nature. He is survived by his wife of 3 years, Cynthia Lynn Davis; mother, Sondra Sue Davis of Evansville; father Bob E. Davis (Joyce) of Evansville; brother, Bryan E. Davis (Linda); nephews, Josh Lane of Evansville and Douglas Davis of Bloomington, IN. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville, IN. Reverend Bret Myers will officiate. Burial will be in Somerville Cemetery, Gibson County. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2009 and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to time of service at the funeral home.
