Susan D. (Hiatt) Mcdonald

Susan “Sue” D. (Hiatt) McDonald, 70, of Elberfeld IN. passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 at her home. She was born on January 13, 1951 in Sullivan, IN. Sue was involved with the American Legion Post 351 Auxiliary for many years. She was the Secretary of the Southern Indiana Pool League. Sue enjoyed spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s many activities.

Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her husband Harold “Butch” McDonald, who were married in 1969. She was also preceded in death by her parents Ralph E. Hiatt and Shirley A. (Behem) Hiatt, and a sister Carol (Hiatt) Wheeler.

He is survived by her children. Daughter Shelly (Keith) Casey, son, Russle (Michaele) McDonald, daughter Diana (Brandon) Kaiser, grandchildren, Ashlee (Tyler) Whitsitt, Nick and Noah Casey, Jesse (Nathan) Moshos, Lane and Mia McDonald, Kora and Dagan Kaiser, two great grandchildren, Liam and Kaylee Whitsitt, sister, Lisa (Kem) McKee, sister Linda (David) Clark, Uncle Jon (Jean) Hiatt, and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM. Thursday June 10, 2021 at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, 140 E. Vincennes St., Linton IN. 47441, (812) 847-2986, burial following at Walker Cemetery in Greene County IN.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 4 to 8 PM at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel, 2nd and Elm Sts., Elberfeld IN. 47613, (812) 983-4211 and on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 4 to 8 PM at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home and from 11 AM till time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sue to Chemo Buddies of Evansville or to the Elberfeld American Legion Post 351 Auxilia.
