Susan Elaine (Hubbard) Walker, age 53, of Newburgh, Indiana, died April 21, 2008, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. She was born in Oakland, California and grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and Kingsport, TN. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, FL where she was a concert violinist with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra for twenty years before moving to Newburgh, IN. She performed with the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra for fourteen years. She was a member of the House of Blessing church. Survived by husband Perry Eugene; daughters, Elaine Michelle and Stephanie Anne; grandchildren, Olivia, Shandi and Julia Braner; sister, Frances Hubbard Robinson and brother, Ralph Wayne Hubbard; Charles Braner III, Elaine's fiancée'; and several nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by son, Michael Perry Walker; parents Troy and Esther Hubbard; grandparents Monroe and Viola Hubbard and Edward and Emma Haeberlin. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, Indiana. Pastor Anthony Tanjoco will officiate with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Newburgh. Eulogies will be given by her two daughters. Pallbearers will be: Charles Braner, Mark Stephens, Kris Kramer, Greg Govert, Rick Joiner, Dean Miensterman Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2008 and Wednesday 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
