Sylvia Bentle, 77 of Evansville, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home. She was born in 1933. She loved working with flowers, playing Bingo and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Meletis; sister, Barbara Jean; and her beloved husband Jack. She is survived by sons, Erik (Janice) Bentle, Billy (Candy) Bentle; daughters, Vicki (Greg) Siddall, Kandi (Charles) Johnson, April (Royce) Miles; brothers, Charles Ray Mote; sister, Peggy Moore; grandchildren, Lenny, Brian, Stacy, Leanna, Chuck, Scott, Anna, Matthew, David, Erika, Stefanie, Darrell, Della, B.J., Heaven, Kirsten; 24 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She has several close friends she cared a lot about including Carol Downey, Jerry Wayne, Shirlie, Alan, and Ronnie. She thought of and loved them as her own. The family wishes to give thanks to The Good Samaritan Staff. Funeral service is 11 a.m., Friday, May 14, 2010, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St., Evansville, Indiana (812) 424- 9288. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 13, 2010 at the funeral home.
