Sylvia Jean Hubbell, 77, passed away April 19, 2014 at VNA Charlier Hospice. She was born May 15, 1936 in Salem, Ky to the late Silas and Mary Susie (George) Yates. She was a past president of FOE Auxiliary #427. Sylvia was a very loving and generous person. Her survivors are, her companion of 44 years, John Wiscaver; granddaughter, Brandi Riedford (Bryan); son-in-law, Ken Harris; great-grandson, Dane Riedford; step-son, John Wiscaver, Jr.; several nieces, nephews and cousins and her dog, Pansy. A special thanks to the nurses at VNA Hospice. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society. Services will be held at a later date.
