Therese D. Walters

Therese D. Walters, 89, passed away, Thursday, September 22, 2016, at Heritage Center.  She was born November 30, 1926, in Paris France to Joseph and Yvonne (Renelier) Garreau.   

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ray Walters in 2001.  Therese is survived by her children, Francoise Ashby (Edward), Don Walters (Jill); grandchildren, Ryan Walters, Paulette Hubbard, Todd Ashby; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Leah, Ayden, McKenzie Walters, Paige Rorer, and Hannah, Grace, Jack, Selah Ashby.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Heritage Center and Heritage Hospice Care Center.

At Therese's request there will be no visitation or services, burial will be at a later date in Zion Cemetery in Elberfeld.  Arrangements are in the care of Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel, (812) 983-4211.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.  Sympathy wishes to the family may be shared at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
