Thomas Lee Goldsberry, Sr., 77, of Newburgh, Ind., formerly of Eureka, passed away Tuesday May 26, 2015 at Deaconess Heart Hospital. He was born May 24, 1938 in Boonville to the late Thomas and Lillian (Crowe) Goldsberry.
He served in the United States Air Force with SAC Division as a jet plane mechanic. He married Shirley (Randolph) on October 19, 1958 who passed away February 18, 2011. He married Diana (Gerard) on February 10, 2012 and she survives.
Thomas retired from the Laborer's Union Local 561. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Strangers Rest 240. For many years he drove the Shriner's van, transporting children to the Shriner's Hospital. Thomas was an avid fisherman and hunter.
In addition to his wife, Diana, Thomas is survived by two daughters, Lisa Fulks (Randy), Tammy Young (Mike), daughter-in-law, Janice Goldsberry, three step-children, Georgia Altabbaa (Ahmed), Spero Daleure, and Ellaine Thornberry (Mark); brother, Robert Goldsberry ( Janice); brother-in-law, Jerry Randolph (Carol); twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sons, Keith, Tim, and Thomas, Jr. and one grandchild, Daniel.
