Thomas T. Mason, Jr.

Thomas T. Mason, Jr., 91, of Elberfeld, Ind., passed away, Sunday, December 17, 2017, at Cypress Grove Nursing Center.  He was born September 17, 1926, in Newburgh, to Thomas T. and Ruby (Sizemore) Mason, Sr., he was one of 18 children. 

Thomas attended Newburgh grade school and Millersburg High School.  He served in the United States Army during WWII overseas in the Philippines.  Tom retired from Whirlpool Corp after 42 years. 

He enjoyed boating, spending time at Kentucky Lake and having a River Camp on the Ohio River.  Tom also enjoyed camping trips with family and friends. 

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents.  He had one son, Thomas Ray Mason, married to Becky Mason; grandsons, Andrew Mason (Kathleen "Kat"), Michael Mason (Sara), Samuel Mason (Jessica); great-grandchildren, Brianna, Triston, Keelin, Elizabeth, Camille, Luke, Madeline; great-great-grandchildren; Nolan, Noel; and siblings, Gary Mason and Rhetta Bea Moore.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m., with visitation beginning at 12 p.m., Friday, December 22, 2017, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel, 2nd & Elm Sts., Elberfeld, Ind., (812) 983-4211.  Rev. Steve Oeth will officiate.  Full Military Rites will be conducted at the funeral home immediately following the service.  Burial will be at a later date in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.  Sympathy wishes to the family may be shared at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
