Troy Lee Underhill

Troy Lee Underhill, our beloved son, father, brother went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 3, 2017, 7 days before his 50th. birthday.  He was a graduate of Castle High School and attended USI.  He excelled in baseball at Castle and won many awards.

Troy endured much illness and pain recently.  He had a heart of gold and longed to see his Savior.  Prior to coming back to Evansville from Mississippi, 3 years ago due to illness, he lived in Saucier, MS and had built a very successful pool business.  He missed the ocean very much.

Troy is preceded in death by his son, Austin Underhill; brother, Clayton Underhill; dad, Colin Lee Underhill; grandparents, Harry and Margaret (Gisselman) Brown, Truman and Margaret Wilmarth, Mirtis and Jean Underhill.

Left to mourn his loss and miss him dearly are his daughters, Amber Kelly (Neil), and Alanna Feldbusch and he leaves his grandson, Austin Feldbusch, whom he was so proud of.  His best friend, protector, and buddy, his lab, Riley, was sitting by his side when he passed away.  Also surviving are his mother, Sandra (Brown) Grames (Tom); his loving sisters and brothers, Ladonna Ford, Chris Jones, Leah Guthrie and Christina Gould, Rick Underhill (Donna), Barry Underhill (Sarah), Corey Underhill.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Zach Hamby and Dr. Umang Patel for their unending care of Troy.  They have shown Troy wonderful care and compassion and did everything to help him and comfort us.

Services for Troy will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 9, 2017 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, IN (812) 853-8314. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 8, 2017 and Friday, 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.  Sympathy wishes may be expressed at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
