Walter M. "Wally" Gardner Sr.

Walter Matthew “Wally’ Gardner, Sr. 79 of Evansville IN. passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. He was born May 15, 1944 in Phoenix AZ., to the late Walter L. & Anna (Matthews) Gardner.

Wally retired from Amax Coal Company as Warehouse Supervisor after many years.

He is survived by the love of his life, Sandra Gardner, two sons, Walter “Matt” Gardner Jr. (Lisa), Jeff Gardner (Jasmine), daughter, Misty Koons (Bobby), brother, Sam Gardner, sister, Judy Baker, nine Grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be at a later date.
