William (Bill) M. Beard, of Evansville, went to meet the Lord, Wednesday, October 20, 2010, at home. He had worked at Evansville Water Dept. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela; mother, Mildred (Bonnell) Beard; father, Merle Beard, Jr.; sister, Diane Gramelsbacher; and one grandson, Zach Patton. Bill is survived by his beloved dog, B.J.; significant other, Beverly Hasenour; son, Joey (Kim) Beard of Jasper; daughter, Janet (Terry) James of Boonville; step-daughter, Heidi (Tony) Spugnardi & family; step-son, Henry (Betsy) Hasenour & family; grandsons, Jamison Beard, Derek Moss, Clint Pieper, Kenneth Pieper; one great-granddaughter; sister, Jacquelyn (Marvin) Carver & family of Lincoln City; brother, Kent (Cathy) Beard & family of Ferdinand. Funeral services are 10 a.m. CST, Saturday, October 23, 2010, at Simpson United Methodist Church, 2201 W Illinois St, Evansville. Burial will follow at Barnett Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is 3 p.m. CST to 8 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2010, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Meyer Chapel, 100 E Columbia St, Evansville, (812) 424-9288. Additional visitation is 9 a.m. to service time at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Vanderburgh County Humane Society and the church.
