William Clyde "Bill" Rockett 85, of Paducah KY., formerly of Evansville IN passed away Friday, September 18, 2009 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield Ky. He was born November 4, 1923 in Hamilton County IL., to Norman & Mary (McGehee) Rockett. Bill served in the United States Army during World War II. He retired from CSX Railroad and was a graduate of Lockyear Business College. Mr. Rockett was preceded in death by his wives, Louise and Mary Rockett. He is survived by his step-daughter and her husband, Linda & Thomas Walker of Evansville, nieces and nephews, Donna Fleming, Jeannine Cocke, Steve Thomas, Patsy Shelby, Ladonna Gammon, Sherry, Gene, Donnie, Terry, Jim, Diane, Debbie, Donna Rockett A funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St., Evansville IN. 47711, (812) 424-9288, with burial at 1 PM Tuesday in Elmwood Cemetery in Equality IL.
